Christmas Tree
So it was the 23rd and we still didn’t have a tree. We’d almost given up on the idea. It was nice not having to worry about the kids breaking the ornaments or breaking their necks trying to climb the tree, etc.
But then Jimmy asked me “where’s our tree?” So I thought for a minute about what to tell him. Then I remembered all the colored paper I had in the cupboard. So I asked him, “do you want to make a tree?” At which both of the boys got really excited.
We cut a bunch of triangles out of green paper then started taping them to the wall. We then of course needed ornaments. So we cut out some light bulbs, squares, circles, snow flakes and stars and taped them up too.
It was so much fun!! It’s the most fun I’ve had decorating a tree since I was a kid. The kids thought it was really awesome too. I love this age!
We also made some snowmen out of Styrofoam balls
Daddy’s Snowman
Mommy’s Snowman
Jimmy’s Snowman
Peter’s Snowman
