When we were getting ready to leave, James handed something to Peter and jokingly said “say thank you” (Peter doesn’t really talk yet so that’s why he was kidding.) and Peter said “thank you” It was so cute. We both looked at each other in amazement.

Today we had our neighbor over because he’s going to build us some shelves.  So he was measuring the wall.  A few minutes later we saw Jimmy doing the same thing.  He was measuring things the rest of the night.  It was pretty cute.

Yesterday Peter had his first X-Ray. He had been sitting on the couch and as I turned around he did a head dive over the arm rest.
He immediately had a purple bump. It looked pretty bad so we took him to the ER.
The doctor wanted to do x-rays just to make sure [...]

I noticed today that Peter says please, it’s really cute.  He was pointing at a toy saying “bwee, bwee”
He also says doggie and then pats his chest (the sign for dog is patting your leg.)  Most animals are doggie, except for elephants.  He raises his arm and does a cute little elephant noise.  I’ll have [...]

We made it safe and sound back to Costa Rica.  The boys did pretty good on the plane too.  The weather here is GREAT!!  It’s been 75-80 degrees during the day and 65-70 at night.

The last few weeks when Jimmy’s been “dirty” he’ll tug on my arm and say “biaper”.
The last two days he’s also been telling me when he is wet.

Today I went to the bathroom while the kids were watching a video. When I came back I couldn’t find Jimmy. So I started calling his name and he started giggling. Then he popped out of one of the cupboards. It was funny.
