He’s getting so big!

I’m not sure what this look is about, but I thought it was funny that they both have the same expression.

It was so funny.  This morning Jimmy comes out of his room with his blanket over his shoulders and announces to me, “Mommy, I’m ‘your majesty’” and does a cute little nod.  Totally cracked me up.  So for lunch I took the boys to Burger King to get crowns.

 The boys are so funny lately.  They come up with some of the funniest things.  I just need to start carrying around a tape recorder to catch all the funny stuff they do.  I at least have my camera…

I was going through the boy’s baby books today and updating a few things.  I just wrote in Jimmy’s book about his 4th birthday and his first day of school….then I turned the page and….that was it….
I just stood there for a second, could there really be nothing else to put in his baby book?!?  [...]

This morning Jimmy comes up to me and says, “my tummin is hurting…I need a strawberry candy to make it better.”
After I gave him a cup of milk and a strawberry candy he says to me, “Oh thank you mama, my tummin is muy better.”

When I was getting the kids ready for bed Jimmy put his pajama pants on his head and says, “there’s snow ‘lakes…it’s Christmas!”  For the next hour he went on and on about snow and Christmas.  It was so cute.  (He watched a Mickey Christmas Special earlier today.)

Today the boys were playing out front and Jimmy was singing and talking up a storm so I went to go see what they were doing.
Jimmy was standing behind a cardboard box, and Peter was sitting in front of the box.  Jimmy says to me, “want to watch a movie?”  I said, “okay”.  Jimmy pushes [...]

Jimmy had zero accidents today!  That’s a first.  He also peed standing up for the first time today.  We were going to the store to get some milk and about halfway there he turns to me and tells me he has to pee.  There wasn’t a bathroom nearby so I took him behind a tree [...]

Today we went to a place nearby that has some spider monkeys and a capuchin monkey.  The boys thought it was so cool.  Some of the monkeys are fenced in and others are on a type of leash.  The ones that are on a leash you can feed them and hold them with someone there [...]

Jimmy is so cute! Twice today Jimmy tripped and hurt himself and I said to him “oh no, are you okay?” and through his tears Jimmy looked up at me and said “no Mom, I’m Jimmy.”
It was so funny!!

There is a little old man that lives near us and often just walks around the neighborhood talking to people.  Today he walked past our house and said (what was probably the only English he knows) how-da-ya-do (it all came out as one word).  And Jimmy being polite repeated back to the man Uh-doodly-do

Jimmy can be so sweet sometimes. A few days ago we were watching the Ugly Duckling and there was a part where the duck started crying and Jimmy says “oh, come ‘ere, come ‘ere” while waving the duck over with his hands.

Lately Jimmy has decided we’re all animals.  Yesterday when I got him out of bed he says, “Hi rhinoceros!  Where’s Tiger?”  Whenever Jimmy wanted me he would yet for rhinoceros, and Daddy was always Tiger.  Peter was the bear and he was the lion.  It was pretty entertaining.

Jimmy is a photographer’s dream.  He is so much fun to take pictures of!  Most of those poses were just Jimmy being cute.  I’m sure it helps that I take his pictures ALL the time, but who knows.

We got the new branch president today and James is still the secretary. He’s very happy about that. On Tuesday James has some dental surgery. He’s getting an implant in his jaw. The root of a front tooth is cracked and no longer good anymore.

Lately Jimmy has these new voices he makes.  Today he was a lion that talked in a growly voice.  The other day it was a bear, frog, car, but my favorite so far has to be the Big Bird voice, it was really cute!

Kids are so funny with all the things they learn as they grow up.
When the boys are in “trouble” I say there first and middle name. Lately Peter will be doing something that Jimmy doesn’t want him to do and he’ll say “Peter Cy-us” (Mathias). It is so funny!!!

Jimmy is so funny.  Yesterday both the boys were being cranky so I decided to take them for a walk.  Jimmy wanted to go see the horse that is down the street from us.  He whinnied  and neighed  the whole way there.
